Read this part carefully

A peel is not a stronger skincare step — it is a different kind of thing

  • I saw how bright people looked afterwards, so I bought a kit to do it myself.

  • A few days of peeling, which I read as it working, so I carried on.

  • I was told to stay out of the sun, but I still have to go to work.

  • I am not sure whether I am in the group who should not peel at all.

It has a start and a stop — which is what separates it from every other step

Everything else on this site is care: cleansing, hydrating, shielding, delivering actives gradually over weeks. A peel deliberately sheds the surface layer over a short window, which makes it a course with an end, not a habit.

The manufacturer designed this kit for three days, and three days means three days. Extending it because the peeling looks incomplete is the fastest route from a controlled course to an injury.

And because it removes part of the protective surface, the period straight afterwards is when skin is most vulnerable. Sun protection during that window is not advice but a precondition — if you cannot avoid sun over the next two weeks, postpone the peel.

Because this is a different kind of task, the list below matters more than the product introduction.

Read before ordering

Five cases where this kit is not for you

This is the strongest product on the site, so this section sits right below the first screen rather than hidden at the bottom.

  1. Do not use

    Pregnant or breastfeeding

This product contains retinol. That is an important difference from everything else here — the pigmentation combo uses bakuchiol precisely to avoid retinoids.

  2. Do not use

Damaged skin, or skin affected by corticosteroid creams

Thin skin, visible vessels, active irritation or a recent procedure all need recovery first. Peeling over a weakened barrier makes it worse.

  3. Do not use

    Unable to use sunscreen daily

After peeling, skin is markedly more sensitive to sunlight. Without daily protection this course does more harm than good.

  4. Ask a doctor first

Already using prescription retinoids or strong acids

Stacking several agents at once is the fastest way to break the skin barrier. Ask a doctor first.

  5. Postpone

An important event within two weeks

Skin will be dry, tight and may darken temporarily before it flakes. Do not start a course right before an occasion where you want your skin at its best.

The real schedule

Three days of treatment, and the two weeks after that decide the outcome

Most people plan the three days and forget what follows. What follows is longer, and getting it wrong wastes the three days entirely.

The peel course
0–3 daysThree days exactly as the enclosed instructions state. Do not extend it.
Shedding and recovery
3–10 daysSkin peels and is sensitive. Gentle cleansing, moisturiser and sunscreen only. No strong actives, no exfoliation, and do not pick at the flaking.
Strict sun avoidance
3–21 daysNew skin darkens very readily. This is where a course goes from an improvement to worse pigmentation than before.
Return to your usual actives
14–21 daysOnce sensitivity and flaking have ended. Going back sooner puts actives into a barrier that has not finished rebuilding.

These markers come from the manufacturer's instructions for the three-day course and from standard post-peel care. Skin differs from person to person, and if stinging persists, redness deepens, or the skin weeps, stop and see a doctor — that is no longer a normal response.

The schedule only holds if the technique is right. Below is the three-day course, step by step.

How to use

A three-day course, once a day

The timings and the number of days are taken verbatim from the manufacturer. This is not a long-term daily product.

  1. Step 1

    Cleanse

Wash with the cleanser in the kit and dry.

  2. Step 2

Apply the peel, massage 3–5 minutes

Spread evenly and massage gently for three to five minutes.

  3. Step 3

Leave on for up to 45 minutes

The time depends on your skin. On a first session, stay well under the maximum.

  4. Step 4

    Rinse, then recover and protect

Rinse with clean water, use the recovery ampoule and the moisturiser. Sunscreen the next day is mandatory.

The manufacturer describes what is normal during the course: mild stinging on application, dryness and tightness afterwards, and skin possibly darkening temporarily before it flakes. But persistent stinging, swelling, blistering or pain means stop immediately — none of those are in the normal group.

Stronger is not always more correct

A peel, or the slow route with daily actives?

Both target darkened surface cells, but they ask different things of you and carry different risks.

    Retinol mixPEEL Kit

    550,000₫

    How it works
Sheds the surface layer over a short course
    Time it costs you
3 days, plus 2 weeks of strict sun avoidance
    Effect on daily life
A visible shedding phase, hard to cover with make-up
    Risk if done wrong
Post-inflammatory pigmentation — skin darker than it started
    Who it suits
Someone who can genuinely arrange two low-sun weeks
  • How it works
    Delivers actives steadily over weeks
    Time it costs you
A few minutes daily, with no restricted period
    Effect on daily life
    Almost none
    Risk if done wrong
Mild irritation, resolved by pausing for a few days
    Who it suits
Someone who cannot avoid sun, or does not want a shedding phase

If you are not sure you can arrange those two weeks, the slow route is the more correct choice — not because it is gentler, but because a half-finished peel usually leaves more damage than no peel at all.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

How much is the kit?

550,000₫ for four pieces, one complete three-day course. Free delivery, pay on delivery.

Why does the pigmentation combo avoid retinoids while this contains retinol?

Because they do different jobs. The combo is a multi-week daily routine, so it uses bakuchiol to limit cumulative irritation. The peel is a three-day course with a defined end, accepting stronger action over a short period. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, this kit is not for you. The combo contains no retinoid, but in that period you should still ask your doctor before using anything.

How often can I repeat it?

We do not quote a figure, because the manufacturer does not publish an interval between courses. Ask an adviser or a dermatologist before repeating — peeling too frequently is a common cause of thinned skin.

Is it normal for skin to darken after peeling?

The manufacturer describes this as normal, with tone evening out as the skin flakes. But if it comes with persistent stinging, swelling or pain, that is something else and you should stop.

Can I use it alongside the pigmentation combo?

Not at the same time. Stacking a peel course on top of a pigment routine is the fastest way to break the skin barrier. Pick one, finish it, then consider the other.
